CRASH COURSE

The Design U Crash Course (or DUCC) program is designed to allow new members to get an in depth taste into each of our three divisions of Design U. Students who bring their willingness to learn and we’ll cover the rest. DUCC division is perfect for clients whose problems extend beyond one division.

This is the challenge the DUCC team of Fall 2018 faced. How might we reduce Explore U handout waste through group matching?

The solution: An online matching quiz that caters to a student’s interests, progressively matching the user with relevant student groups

Methods

All teams begin with a "how might we" statement around a given theme. Throughout the semester, DUCCs dip their toes in R+S, Prototyping, and Digital.

Process

DUCCs start the project with interviews and ideation, followed by hard prototyping skills (laster cutting, rough prototyping, etc), and finished up with wireframing and digital marketing practices.

Deliverables

At the end of the semester and completion of the project, the team will present the final deliverables, including final wireframes and suggestions.
